Whale shark was seen on South Jack Wreck on Thursday May 27, 2010. Dan, from Lucky Dog Graphics, and his buddy Joe had a visit from a whale shark during their dive this past Thursday. Dan brought the video by the dive shop on Friday and has some great footage. Hope we can have posted on the website soon!
Another whale shark sighting was on Saturday May 29th in 40 feet of water near Clearwater.

Gov. Charlie Crist has announced that the recreational harvest season for bay scallops in Florida will open 12 days earlier than usual this year. The governor is taking this action to help relieve possible economic hardships on Florida fishing communities that may occur due to the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
